Vacation Part 2: Park City with the Taylors

After our visit from Kaysie, Mat, Cam and I flew to Utah to spend a week with the Taylors.  We had a 6 hour layover in Minneapolis, so we took the tram to the Mall of America to hang out.  Camden was thrilled to have some time to run around between flights.
 And he loved the tram.
While we were there, we met some of the backyardigans,
and let Camden ride on one of the rides.
He was in pieces when he realized that we'd only let him ride it once.
Cam was completely exhausted by the time we finished at the mall (mostly because Mat let me shop a little bit, too...)
We spent the week in Park City at a beautiful house where we got to sit and relax every day.  Here are a few of the highlights:
This is where Camden spent much of his time (I seriously have to restrict his TV, the kid is addicted...)
Enjoying the stairs (and learning to go up and down on his own!)
Cousin Olive ready to go biking.
Coloring with the cousins.
Cam doesn't quite understand chairs yet...
 Hanging with daddy...naked...
Learning how to wrestle from the boys...
I think Mat is losing at this point...
Painting nails (I painted one of Camden's nails with clear nail polish and Mat wasn't too happy about that...)
 The stroller clan.
Fun on the playground.
Sliding with mommy...
This last picture is one of the last I have from this vacation. About 5 minutes after this picture was taken, Camden projectile-vomited all over Mat, and in trying to get him home, he proceeded to vomit another 3 times in his car seat (shout out to Aunt Kaysie for not flipping out when Cam threw up in her car). Within the next 48 hours, Mat crashed his bike, broke his collar bone, and Cam and Mat both went to the doctor. Needless to say, I wasn't quite sure what to take pictures of. (To see pictures of Mat's accident, click here.)

Despite the whole family getting sick (and when I say WHOLE family, I mean 17 out of 20 that got sick, I think), and the accident, we actually had a blast.  The craziness forced us to stay at home base quite a bit, and it was a great opportunity to really bond as a family.  We watched movies, talked, ate great food, played games, had poetry readings, and just plain had fun.  We hope every vacation is just as great!....with maybe less injuries...
