A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words, Part Two

Just when we thought it couldn't get worse, exhibit B (2 days later, I might add):
Add Image
The picture doesn't do it justice. It was chunky. Outside of his diaper. Did I mention that the last three times I have taken him to the YMCA he's had a blow-out? Serious bowel issues...

A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words

Mat and I had an interesting experience today. I took a picture of it:
Take a closer look:

Even closer:
That's right, ladies and gents. That's poo. A big pile of baby poo. While hanging out in the exersaucer, Camden pooed the world's most memorable poo--so big, that it went through the diaper and puddled onto the floor of the exersaucer. I have to honestly admit, I burst out laughing when I saw it. I had no other reaction than to break out in fits. There he was, giggling and laughing, literally playing in his own poo. Mat didn't share my sentiments. He obviously doesn't change enough diapers.

First Adventures in Lexington

Since we've been here, we've tried to take the time to discover lexington a little. Here's a little of what we've done:

Went swimming with some friends (Cam's first time swimming... he wasn't too sure about it...)
We discovered this weird bird sculpture (I guess its supposed to be artistic?) in a nearby Arboretum that is awesome! (the arboretum, not the sculpture)
We've located 99.9% of the Mexican restaurants, per Mat's request... and taste-tested a few.
We've found some good bocci fields...
...guess who lost?
I found a bunch of fun places to walk to, from and through.
And our most recent adventure: Boyd's Orchard!
We taught Cam how to pick apples...
Ooops! There he is.
We showed him what pumpkins look like...
...And what horses look like.
He loved the pumpkins the most!
We have really enjoyed discovering Lexington -- We love it here!

My Growing Baby

Just a few pictures of our little boy....Hope you enjoy!

Hanging out with his binky (which he finally loves!)...
Hanging out in the exersaucer...
And hangin' with dad...
Playing with Mom...
And cooking with Mom...
Watching TV with Dad...
And watching BYU Football with Dad... go Cougars!
Standing...
Standing...
Standing...
Did I mention he likes to stand?
He loves the stroller...
Almost as much as he LOVES Mat...
And he now loves to swing!
We love this little addition to our family!

Moving to Kentucky

I know that we've been here for 2 months now, but I thought it was time to write about our move. Back in July, we packed up our stuff in Moscow...
...including Camden... (just kidding, sort of...)

and realized that we had accumulated waaayyyy to much stuff to fit in our car. We had to purchase a roof top carrier to bring it back to Utah.
We spent 5 days in Utah with family and then set off for Kentucky. Bless my mother's heart, she flew to Utah so she could drive with me and Cam while Mat drove the U-haul. We had intended to switch off driving, but it turned out that it was easier for me to entertain Camden in the back while she drove. He was mostly and angel, but when he got a little fussy we got creative. Exhibit A:
Yes, that is Diego on my laptop...sitting ON his carseat. He LOVED it. Absolutely mesmerized him.

We survived the 27 hour drive and right when we got out here Mat started orientation. He had his white coat ceremony, which was fun. take a look:
It was a great way to start our new life here. We have made so many friends and absolutely love our ward. It's like having family here.

"You should see the other guy..."

Camden idolizes Harry Potter, so he's been crying with a british accent, using his invisibility cloke, and even donning a scar on his forehead. It was a painful experience trying to get that scar there, but well worth the experience.
